{"id":15,"date":"2020-07-30T12:57:23","date_gmt":"2020-07-30T10:57:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/gut.multiplecs.at\/?page_id=15"},"modified":"2023-09-05T13:44:48","modified_gmt":"2023-09-05T11:44:48","slug":"history","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.laban.co.at\/en\/history\/","title":{"rendered":"History"},"content":{"rendered":"\r\n<section class=\"container_small  nospacing\">\r\n        <div class=\"editor\">\r\n        <p>In the first half of the 13th century, the castle &#8220;Lug ins Land&#8221; was built on the local mountain called Hausberg in Semriach, which was first mentioned in 1268. The dairy farm, which belongs to the castle complex, i.e. the farm, which supplied the knights of the castle with food and also had stables, formed the first buildings of the present estate Gut J\u00e4gerhof, which can thus look back on a tradition of about 800 years.<\/p>\n<p>Already at the end of the 14th century the castle &#8220;Lug ins Land&#8221; was no longer inhabited and slowly fell into disrepair. Building materials, mainly hewn stones, were scarce at that time and so it is assumed that extensions of the dairy farm, especially the present main building of the Gut J\u00e4gerhof, were built at the end of the 14th century from stones of the castle. This is probably also the reason why almost nothing can be seen of the castle ruins today.<\/p>\n<p>Through the centuries the J\u00e4gerhof has had an eventful history. Ownership passed through many hands including peasant, bourgeois and aristocratic possession. At the beginning of the last century, the estate\u00a0 finally came into the possession of the family Laban of Varalja. Today, the J\u00e4gerhof is owened by the third generation Mag.
