Deer Farm

For more than 30 years, the Gut Jägerhof estate has been keeping deer. The large meadows and pastures offer the ideal conditions for agricultural deer keeping. In our spacious natural enclosure, the animals live outdoors all year round according to their needs. There they have  free movement  and plenty of space and enjoy  natural feeding with fresh, juicy grass in summer and  mountain hay and grain from our farm in winter.

Jürgen Laban has established the deer breeding on the Jägerhof estate. He is chairman of the Federation of Austrian Deer Breeders (Bundesverband österreichischer Wildhalter) and Vice President of the FEDFA (Federation of European Deer Farmers Associations), based at the University of Prague, CZ.
